What is Cosmic Dressage?

Cosmic Dressage focuses on the proper development of young or inexperienced horses, with an emphasis on correct training, transparency, and long-lasting results. The program is designed to give horses a strong foundation that prepares them for every situation in their future careers. Training also sets them up for success with the perfect owner.

I have 7 years of horse experience and began developing project horses in 2022. In addition to training my own horses, I work with individual owners to develop their horses through tailored, progressive programs. Adaptive training programs are utilized for each horse and include natural horsemanship, positive reinforcement, and pressure-and-release methods. This ensures that each program aligns with the horse’s individual learning style and needs, preparing them for success.

Cosmic Dressage operates on a one-horse-at-a-time project model, allowing for complete focus and individualized training. My horses receive consistent attention over the course of months or, when appropriate, years. This approach supports the development of a horse that is correctly educated, confident, and mentally balanced, rather than rushed or overwhelmed.

In the sport horse market, limited or unclear training histories make it difficult for buyers to fully understand a horse’s background. At Cosmic Dressage, transparency is a priority. Each horse’s complete history and all training received within the program are openly documented and shared; allowing buyers to make informed decisions with confidence and creating strong partnerships both in and out of the show ring.
